Celebrating Community Recognition 💙

We are deeply grateful to share that Caremongering Campbell River and founder Tara Jordan were recognized in the Campbell River Mirror Newspaper’s Reader’s Choice Awards.
2025 Reader’s Choice Awards
What This Recognition Means
Receiving 2nd Place for Best Non-Profit Service as a community-rooted, grassroots, volunteer-led group that began in 2020 is incredibly meaningful. Caremongering Campbell River was built on the belief that neighbours supporting neighbours can create real, lasting impact, and this recognition affirms the value of community-driven care in Campbell River.
The recognition of Tara Jordan as Community Champion and Diversity Superstar reflects a commitment to inclusive leadership, advocacy, and ensuring that all community members feel seen, supported, and valued. These awards represent not individual achievement alone, but the collective effort of volunteers, partners, and community members working together to build a more connected and compassionate Campbell River.
We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who voted and continues to support this simple, grassroots work. We look forward to growing together and continuing to serve our community with care and integrity.
